Some see this as a paradox – but they have failed to see how many people are recognising the extraordinary benefits cycling has for mind, body and soul. Electric Assist bikes
E-bikes, have changed the game. Endurance an strength used to be pre-requisites for cycle tourists, but now, as long as you possess some modicum of skill, electric bikes will make the riding easy. Less huffing and puffing on the hills and more energy to enjoy evenings out.
Fully Guided Tours
Our Luxury itineraries are fully guided with a rider guide and support vehicles. Guides are great! not only for taking silly photos like the one shown, but they ensure that you take the right trail, and any problems encountered on trail are quickly resolved. Our guides are locals, we know the area, the stories and we can fix bikes. Our guides are all qualified first aiders. One of the key responsibilities of our guides is to bring the group together and ensure everyone’s needs are being met.
Luxurious Accommodation
There is nothing worse, at the end of a day’s riding to find yourself having to deal with an uncomfortable bed! Sometimes, on some itineraries we have to make do…but not on the luxury tours! When you arrive in wellington you stay at top quality accommodation in the heart of the city such as the Bolton Hotel. In Martinborough we stay at the Martinborough Hotel, overlooking the Martinborough Square. We don’t move you around each night, you get to unpack and settle in for the week.
Sublime scenery
You would expect us to choose the most beautiful places to ride, with the most variety possible.
