Enjoy navigating 5 tunnels as you follow the Pakuratahi River to Summit Station, a great rest spot before descending to Cross Creek. Explore the Fell Locomotive Museum in Featherston and then it is on-on to Greytown, known for it’s restaurants and boutique shopping.
After a morning coffee at one of many great cafes and a browse amongst the boutiques you can depart for Martinborough Wine Village. You have the option of cycling a short 18 kilometres so you can spend the afternoon riding the vines, or a 60+ kilometre ride via Stonehenge Aotearoa and Longbush.

Aptly named this beautiful but rugged coastline is exposed directly to the Antarctic Southerly winds. Remote, you will feel warmth as you emerge at Orongorongo to a warm welcoming cottage.
Ride around Baring head to Eastbourne Village, stop for
or Morning Tea or have a coffee at Days Bay, Wellingtons Playground. Continue around the Bays to Petone and then enjoy the Hutt River Trail, a cruisy ride back to Brewtown where a cold craft beer and a hearty feed await! Oh the stories you will tell!
Pretty fit. The ride is not technically challenging for most riders, but a reasonable level of fitness is required as you may ride 60km in a day.
There is a wide range of surfaces to cover during this ride. There are some spots where sand or shallow river crossings makes it impossible to stay on your bike (Hence level 4) but the riding is not technical or unusually dangerous.
